  • Worst online experience I have ever had



    The online tracker doesn't work for shipping. The lost my original order for Xmas. I reorder and can't track it. I call in and they are not answering anymore calls during the week before Xmas. They are only corresponding by emails. I email them and they say they will respond in 3 business days. When I tried to purchase online, the cart kept loading but wouldn't give shipping, after 2 hours finally happened and now I have a tracking number but there is absolutely no way to track it.   • Poor Online and Customer Service FFFFFF



    I am extremely disappointed with the online service, it took me an hour to get the order placed, then FEDEX ended up returning the package back to Build A Bear because there was no address printed on the label, only city name. I called customer service and after 65 minutes wait the representative tells me this is an isolated case and that she can offer me a refund! Seriously???   • Hole in my little pony teddy bear.



    After spending the day in London with my daughter, I decided to treat her to a build a bear in Hamleys, Regent Street. After spending nearly £70 on the bear and accessories, on the way home we discovered there was a hole in the front leg of the teddy!!! Seeing as the nearest build a bear is 2 hours from where we live I am unable to just return the bear at my next convenience.     I ordered a single bear online from Build-A-Bear on December 17, 2014, hoping to get it in time for a Christmas gift and by January 1st I still didn't get it! I sent an email to customer service and they said the order wasn't even placed when I already paid for it. They resent it and I ended up getting it on January 16, 2015.     Worst online shopping experience I have encountered so far. I tried to order a gift for my sister's birthday as she is in the Navy and I do not get to see her to deliver it myself. I never got a confirmation email and was not told that my it couldn't be sent because of the address. I then had to call wondering why she hadn't received it after a month to find out I was getting refunded and the gift returned, but when I looked at my bank account I didn't see a refund.     Absolutley disgusted by how I was misled by the worker named Jasmine at the Trumbull Mall in CT Build a Bear store. I specifically asked her if I can use a $12 off coupon that clearly I did not have because the last time I received a email from them was back in 2013, so I said could I use the same one my friend has, she said yes so I told my daughter to make the bear, long story short what she told me was far from the truth and the manager was of no help because all she kept saying was there must have been a misunderstanding.   • Cheap trick in making me buy sound song for reindeer



    My daughter got Clarise the Reindeer and the Bear builder asked my daughter if she'd like the sound song, but didn't tell me the cost would be $7.50 additional. When I get to the register, she said, 'I can always take it out', but my daughter had already had the sound in her new reindeer and I wasn't gonna break her heart at this point. It was a cheap trick.   • Manager with Horrible Customer Service



    I took my daughter to the Build a Bear in Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax, VA today. We walked in and there was a crowd of about 25 adults and children waiting at the stuffing station. I figured out it was because there was only 1 sales staff working the machine and about 5-6 other sales staff just walking around, not doing anything. I asked a sales girl if she could sit at the other end and work the stuffing machine so all the little kids wouldn't have to wait in the long line.     Visited Build -a-bear store in Hamleys in London and recieved appalling service Staff werenot interested in the Children. Stuffed the Bear and sent us to the till. Staff member on the till was on the phone no offer of loyalty card or discount from next purchase.None of the imagination around the process.
